We would like to officially announce Red5 Flash Server version 0.3. There are quite a few exciting new features with this release, some of which include:

• FLV Output Code

• Audio / Video Recording

• Live Stream Publishing

• Shared Objects

• Standalone Binary Package with Installer

• Embedded Jetty Servlet Engine

We are planning on releasing a set of installers within the week for Linux, Macintosh OS X, and Windows. There are still a few things to finish up on them and we didn’t want to delay the release because of this. For now, feel free to compile it yourself with the source code that can be found in our SVN repository at http://svn1.cvsdude.com/osflash/red5/java/server/tags/0.3/
