OSFlash Job Board

Spread the word: there's a new job board for Flash, Flex and ActionScript jobs on OSFlash.

I'm going to be posting the first ten jobs free of charge (email me aral AT aralbalkan.com) and future listings will go to support OSFlash.

OSFlash receives over 110,000 unique visitors every month (growing by about 10,000 a month.) Our audience is a very focussed group of some of the world's best Flash, Flex and ActionScript developers. Putting a job notice on the OSFlash Job Board is a great way to reach this demographic and support OSFlash as the same time.

Announcing Helium - AIR Installer Component Library

Helium is a new Open Source component library for Actionscript 3. The library allows Adobe AIR developers to create custom web-based installers.

The current AIR installer badge is limited, and does not allow you to add any validation or data collection (such as age validation, agreeing to terms and conditions or collecting email addresses).

This library provides an easy way to configure an installer using XML to load components and assets remotely and to display the Adobe AIR installer once validation has been completed.

The project is in early alpha after some initial tests. A new clean codebase has been started and documentation started on my Wiki. Please feel free to comment and if anyone would like to contribute please contact me.

SILEX, or the art of sculpting anything, from anywhere, by anyone (en, fr)

Silex is becoming unavoidable for creators of innovative websites. To express this art fully, we owed it ourselves to organize a happening where SILEX is experimented with and is lived through the community.
So mark these Saturdays: 17/01, 31/01, 14/02, 28/02. We are happy to invite you in Paris to share these 4 winter days around debates, discovery workshops, creations, a SILEX café, and urns to vote on the upcoming features of SILEX V2.
Stay tuned: the calendar of the season's celebrations will be coming shortly. In the meantime, reserve your Saturdays. For foreigners we want to organize walks: Moulin Rouge and trocadero. Ok bad joke :-) But we do have suggestions for places to stay.
One more news, mailing lists for all tastes:

And we are looking for translators to translate news, and documentation.

I had got a desire to begin my organization, but I did not earn enough amount of cash to do this. Thank God my colleague proposed to use the credit loans. Therefore I received the college loan and realized my desire.

Some time before, I needed to buy a house for my corporation but I did not have enough cash and could not buy anything. Thank God my sister suggested to try to take the home loans from creditors. Thence, I acted that and used to be happy with my secured loan.
