Cairngorm is a pattern-based application framework for Flex and Flash. It is the latest release of the Actionscript framework first detailed in the chapter “ActionScript 2.0 Design Patterns for RIA” in the ActionScript 2.0 Dictionary, published in the summer of 2003.
