FlashDevelop 3.0.0:

1. Check in C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework that you have the .NET 2.0 framework,
2. For AS3 development, make sure you have the latest Java runtime (it is recommended to uninstall older runtimes),
3. Follow the setup wizard intructions.

FlashDevelop 2.0.x:

1. If you need AS3/Flex support, install FlashDevelop 3.0 instead.
2. Check in C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework that you have the latest version (v1.1.4322, ie .NET 1.1 SP1) of the .NET 1.1 framework.
3. Follow the setup wizard instructions.
