[Flashjs] calling flash at page onunload

Hi, 
     Thanks for providing the js/as integration tool.  I find it very handy for the application I'm developing.
     One thing I found out was that it's not working when the javascript function is called on html unload (<body onunload="javascript: callflash()...").  My guess is that the JavaScriptFlashGateway.swf is not loaded when user browses away a page.  I had to put an "alert() after callflash()" then the problem seems to go away (on ie and firefox).  
     Does anyone have any suggestions or experience?
