[Fling] Some questions

Hi Scott,

These are really great questions. I have some answers, but I have to
run as I'm leading a study group on the Decorator pattern this
evening. I will try and address this tomorrow; I just didn't want you
to think I was ignoring you.

Please, you other guys chime in and give us your thoughts as well.
