Well, I think it's definitely worth doing in AS3 too. The main
problem with AS3 that I can see is that Flex 2 is not yet done and
more importantly Flash player 8.5 isn't used by anyone except other
developers like us at the moment. Adoption of the new player by the
general public will take some time I'm sure. There is also no
backwards compatibility to AS1 byte code either, so I don't think it's
viable to only implement an AS3 version.
Thoughts?
