[Fling] Fwd: Fling and As2lib IoC Container

Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to let you know that Simon Wacker is going to be helping
us create Fling. Please see the information below for more details.
Basically he already has an implementation of Spring's IoC container.
Oh, and Simon, I totally agree that Fling should be as light weight as
possible and not be a direct port of Java Spring. If you would like to
see what we have done up to know, please see our SVN repository here:

Hi Chris,
waking up in the morning and reading good news: this day must going to
be great! ;)
The bean factory depends only slightly on the rest of the As2lib, so
this part may be ported; but the application context uses other As2lib
parts heavily. But before porting, it may be worthwhile to think about a
more lightweight and performant implementation. While my implementation
is almost a direct clone of the Spring Bean Factory (and Spring calls
itself a lightweight container), this is quite heavyweight in Flash. ;)
