[FVNC] so what is the lowdown and how do I use?

I was talking with a buddy of mine about a Flex application that I am  
building that does live streaming video and was asking him if he knew  
of a way to share a view of my desktop via the NetStream. Kind of like  
Acrobat Connect and Web X and GoToMeeting do. He seemed to thing that  
two out of the three where using FVNC to do this.

So here is my question.... is this true? Can I use this open source  
project to build a simple way for a user to click button and replace  
there webcam stream with a stream of there computer desktop?

Now if the answer is yes do you have some example code that you can  
point me to or documentation at all?
