I think that's a good idea. Nevertheless, we should still try to keep the information on-topic for ActionScript developers and not try to create Yet Another Resource About Anything Open Source(tm).

Oh, and concerning licenses, you should definitely check out the FSF's collection of free-to-not-so-free licenses:
http://www.fsf.org/licensing/licenses/
Their comments on licenses are pretty GPL centric, but invaluable information nevertheless.
