I believe the errors should appear in the Problem panel.

I've got it installed with the latest flashout but I can't seem to find the
MTASC window anymore. So I looked at the actionscript2 settings again under
preferences and it has the option to display errors in the console, I
enabled this and do get the errors in the console, but you can't double
click the error to get to the line that has the syntax problem like you
could in the previous version that support the MTASC output window.

any clues or is this a new bug/feature :) ?
