Hi Marcelo,
You could learn about ANTLR from the web site: http://www.antlr.org/
Basicaly, ANTLR is a lenguaje recognition tool that generate grammars and
ASTs (that will support our ASDT editor's model). There's an Eclipse plugin
as well for ease of development. In our case the grammars are for AS2 and
AS3 languajes so we could build a fast and full feature ASDT editor. For
example, JDT in eclipse editor is build in the same way, for this reason is
so fast and reliable.
I'd like to invite to all of you that loves learn and code to read about
Eclipse PDE, ANTLR, and other related things so you could contribute in the
future to ASDT and have a profesional AS 2 and AS3 open source tool. It's
real fun :).
Cheers,
C.
