Hi,

Normal webcam plugged into computer - works like Flash Media Server - 
look at the demo video conferencing application.

Networked webcam - I looked into this for a project.  Red 5 cannot 
transcode video from non Flash Player sources so you would need to look 
at FFMpeg an external tool to do the transcoding.  I have not gone any 
further than this.
