Oh I totally agree! I would more than likely use FlashDevelop for that
very thing, but alas, no Mac version. Currently I open one off AS2
files in Subethaedit, but a more robust tool would be awesome.
There is definitely a need for both products because they serve
different purposes. This is some overlap of course, so where there is,
the two projects should try to work together. An example of that is
the API that Hank was describing.
