[osflash] Regular Expressions

[lieven.cardoen@pointx.be]

Well, the search itself has no regular expression. I just search for all
files with the number 14772. Then I get 60 files which match.

 

After this I get the window "Replace". Replace : "14772"      With :
"Here I need to access the name of the file"  At this moment the replace
is done file by file.

I think not...you access ALL files matchin the criteria. The regular
expression is the pattern you look for inside all files in a set.

Yes, you can use the search/replace functionality in Eclipse with
regular expresions.

Does anybody of you guys know if a replace like this is possible in
eclipse : 

 

I have a number of files all with names like "assessmentitem_15845.xml".
In each of these files, I have to replace a number (always 14772) with
15845 (comes from name of file).
