Hello,
I dont know the correct answer. I was wondering if anyone could give more
information about ideal protocols for communicating with a server side DB.
phpObject looks very easy to use but there are other concerns when choosing
the ideal protocol. If anyone has given thoght to this please let me know
how these different protocols compare in regards to the following:
1) Ease of use
2) transfer time
3) Overhead
4) Maximum amount of data transfered
5) Load time when recieving data in flash
6) ability to broadcast when data is loaded in flash
7) probibility of crashing flash
8) maintanability/reusability
9) secuirity
9) Supported data types.
10) amount of time spent server side programming.
Thanks,
Iman
