Tim that's seriously cool! I found FITC pics without a problem ;)

I dig the image editing, very nice work man

Hmmm. Once again it looks like I'm wrong.

What are you using the local connection for?

"flash.net.LocalConnection was unable to invoke callback 'setTree' "

P.S.: Since we're talking Flex Derby, here's a link to my entry:

ah I'll try that

I haad thought creationComplete was for the component rather than for use
with setting dataProvider, but I'll give it a go ;)

But not sure that's it either, I did a setTimeout call after a full second
to expand and it still generates that error

I sent that message from home this morning where I was using FF. I just
tested it with FF at work and got the same error. I flipped over to IE with
the IE tab FF extension and got this error:

Error #2044: Unhandled StatusEvent:. level=error, code=

I'm using the IE 7 beta.

I'm thinking that maybe you're not waiting until the tree is built to set
the Selected Index. It might be something to do with creationComplete()???
But that's just a guess.

Ok, i'm guessing the initial load of the treeview is causing the error. I'm
basically setting the selectedIndex = 0 so that I can expand the root node -
I'm thinking that's where the error is. Weird that I don't get that error
though. Are you guys loading through Firefox or IE?

I'm getting the same error, John. It works great after that though. Nice
work!

Error #2044: Unhandled ErrorEvent:. text=Error #2095:
flash.net.LocalConnection was unable to invoke callback 'setTree' due to
exception 'RangeError: Index '0' specified is out of bounds.'.
