Hi,
this isn't quite an osflash subject, but i hope someone can help me. I
am now trying Flex Builder 2, and i'm very well impressed with
everything. From what i've seen, Flex 2 is the ideal solution for what i
do, except in a thing (for now :P )...
If i had to describe my work, i wouldn't know what to say: i don't know
if i'm making a Rich Internet Application that looks like a website, or
a website that acts like a RIA... :o). What i mean, is that i need flex
components and workflow, but i also need to have easily costumizable
layouts, like i had on Flash 8 - where i simply put objects on stage, to
achieve the look the designer has proposed.
It seems that in Flex Builder 2, i can't add images, effects,
movieclips, etc, to stage in a fast and straightforward way, like i
would do in Flash. But i know i can import them from an existing swf
made, for example, using Flash 8.
I was wondering how you are solving this kind of situation...probably
it's not that difficult, but i'm having trouble to find a direct and
simple solution - and there should be one, since it's Adobe interest to
have designers and developers working together.
BTW, which Flex mailing lists do you use? I am subscribing right now to
flexcoders, but are there others?
Thanks,
João Saleiro
