Perhaps you might be able to use some matrix in the setTransform() that
curves the skew.
A test would be to see if you could turn a square to a circle using
BitmapData.setTransform() and then in theory you should be able to tween it.

Sorry for this non-OS question, but I want to reproduce an existing
timelined animation, but using only Actionscript.
Check this site: http://www.modesp.com/ . Click on Homepage, or other option
on the menu. On the left, you'll see a white box appearing from the top with
a cylindrical effect. This is done probably using timeline animations. I
want to make something similar on Flash 8 using only code (BitmapData). Any
suggestion?

Other effect i would like to reproduce, is the genie effect (without being
sued by Apple ... :P). Suggestions are welcome... :)
