I think you're confusing warranty and guarantee -- as I understand it,
the warranty means you can expect it to work if you take it out of the
box two years after purchase, and otherwise that it lives up to the
advertisements' promises and to what you would normally expect from
such a product. It doesn't cover parts that break during use, unless
there is a mistake on the side of the manufacturer.
IANAL, though. All I'm saying is have a closer look at this
distinction before you rely on it.
