I got mine a little while ago and I can say the same. I wish I could  
say that I should have switched sooner but that's not the case -- the  
Intel Macs made all the difference for me. Switching was a breeze  
thanks to Parallels and I am still amazed every time I switch between  
OS X/Windows and Linux at the touch of a key and they all run much  
better than Windows did on my PC.

Mac/OS X definitely isn't perfect but nothing is. In terms of coming  
close, yeah it is. I really can't explain the difference it has made  
in my daily life. I'm just a happier person :)
