I too much prefer listservs over web forums. Besides this list, I
subscribe to Flashcoders, FlashGameCoders, Flashnewbies, Flasher,
Flashelearning, and AWARE.

I know it's totally off-topic, but I think it's interesting to share
what mailing list you subscribe to, it could help us find our common
interests as developers. Besides that, if anyone would help me find the
best way to read newsgroup, I would be grateful :)

I find mailing lists to be a valuable resource of information. They are
"lighter" and faster than forums, and if you've got a gmail account,
they are as organized as a regular web forum. I myself am subscribing to
many differente mailing lists and this keeps me up to date with all the
technologies directly or indirectly relevant to me. Of course, the
mailing lists I am mostly active are osflash, flashcoders and other
osflash subprojects.
This two in one message. First, what do you think about mailing lists?
What mailing lists do you subscribe to?
And a question, I would like to subscribe to some interesting newsgroups
I've found, but I would like to access and manage them through web
client. I wonder if it is possible to access a newsgroup using our
beloved Gmail?
Cheers!
Marcelo.
