Hello everyone,
Is anyone aware of a method to encode live video using VP6 on Linux?
I need to be able to encode live video on a Linux platform and send it to an
FMS/Wowza server( We are evaluating both platforms) and looking into using
Red5.
Ideally it would be command line, and already existing, but we are willing
to look into creating our own product using VP6 libraries if that is
absolutely necessary.
We are a self funded startup at this stage and really cannot afford much to
get this working.
I have looked into running On2 Flix Live on a windows guest using vmware on
a linux host, but this has some severe problems due to hardware
compatibility issues and general resource issues.
Thanks for your time,
Martin C
