[osflash] haxe: bitmapdata on the fly example, anyone?

Could someone send me just a simple example of how to create BitmapData on the fly and display it in HaXe?  I want to create a level by drawing pixels into a bitmap then use getpixel to detect collision, like if the space ahead of the player is all black, the player is unobstructed. All the graphics will be done using simple drawing function.  I've done this before in C#, in which I made a lemmings clone in this way, but I don't get the syntax that HaXe requires.  I just need a little help seeing what the syntax is supposed to be like.
