[osflash] Looking for Red5 Advice for Video Player

Hello,

If I want a flash video player to use Red 5 for
detecting data bit streams, what's reccommended for
what type of video player should be used?

Can it be as simple as making a player in Flash 8 or
would it have to be developed in something like Flex?
