[osflash] Flash player for small linux device

There isn't "a Linux player" so much as a series of them, for different versions of Linux, running on different hardware. Then you've got a range of external media APIs to connect to as well. There's no generic support as there is with "Mac Player" or "Win Player".

For available Adobe engines, check out the Adobe download pages. Redistribution of Adobe code requires licensing.

Opera & Nokia licensed and ported the full Adobe Flash Player 9 to Maemo Linux for the Nokia Internet Tablet 800. There are also cloners who implement incomplete subsets of SWF parsing and rendering, but they're not committed to SWF like Adobe is. 

Trying to provide common abilities atop uncommon devices is hard. I'm not sure of the best path for your project.
