[osflash] What happened to fla files?

You need to remember, regardless of which tool creates it, the end
result is deployed as a SWF or SWC or RSL to the one and only Flash
Player. Also, the Flex components are in a RSL and are cached in the
player.

Also remember the Flex SDK is free and the Flex compiler(s) and
frameworks are now open source. Also, the MXML compiler outputs AS3
before being compiled into bytecode for the AVM.
I think they warrant your consideration.
