[osflash] Manipulate streaming video on the fly

Hey everybody.

I face following issue:

I want to record a video to the server. But I only want to record a certain
rectangle selection out of the webcam feed. Like people can say, 'record
this part' before hitting "record".
I was wondering if I can do this on the frontend.. And can I have the
selection change while recording..?

Anybody ever tried this before?

Any tips are welcome.. I am not so much concerned if the frame rate would
drop to 15 fps or so.
