[Papervision3D] Games and Stories AND clipping

Patrick, not sure... let me think "out loud" here for a second. If you have a story before you
have a way to present it, then you have a baseline for what you would need to present it. On the
other hand, if you have an engine, working with the limitations of a very small browser plug-in,
then a story can be worked with those limitations in mind. Which is better?

The truth about good storytelling is your basic plot, twists, characters, and the world they live
in etc. don't care about limitations. You could sit around a camp fire and tell a good story and
it's still going to hold peoples attention and work on a primitive level -- and become a meme. So,
that being said, I don't think it matters which one you have first. They are both time consuming
to do right any way you look at it. And for ME, if I'm going to spend a lot of time doing
something -- I don't want to do something that's already been done ;)

If you're doing a first-person shooter in multiplayer death-match a plot isn't so necessary, but
you still have to have a world, and that world 'should' have a reason for being the way it is.

On another note, I have a question about this:

http://www.roanesky.com/swf/test.html

If I don't let the camera move much, everything seems fine. CLICK on the left building and it
makes the camera float... look at the ground plane. What would cause this? If I up the face count
any more, it drags the frame count down considerably. I must be missing a trick or something.
