[Papervision3D] primitives

I'm nearly done with some basic primitives:
http://www.sjeiti.com/test/pv3d/primitives.html .
The cube still need a bottom and a lid and I still have to do a torus.
Then it occurred to me the demo I initially followed has y as the up
vector. I always thought the horizontal plane was x y so that confused
me, but I just switched the y and the z and never thought about it up
till now.
So ... is z up?

What do you people think the default size should be? The default size
for the plane is 500 but I think that is bit of a strange number (that
would mean a default radius of 250 for the sphere).

Then there is the cone. When I was checking the primitives in 3dsmax is
noticed that the cone does not necessarily have a closed tip (like a
cylinder with a smaller top radius). Do you think I should include that
option as well? The point is that it would then probably need to have
two ways of calculating the top because you wouldn't want to have a
whole bunch of identical vertices in the tip of the cone (when it is a
normal pointy cone).
