Good stuff thanks for sending on. Always interested in pathfinding.
I have also been working on a start, graph and etc and it just so happens
Polygonal Labs has some good stuff along these lines (node based though).
Check the last example.

Combine that with Zeh's pv3d bezier pathing:

And you'd have a pretty sweet dynamic pv3d pathfinding engine, scripted
scene editor etc.
