You could create your face in MAX or Maya, add bones to do the facial
animations and export that as Collada.

Then use ascollada's Phunky branch to be able to control the face.
Just make a note of which frame certain animations start / stop.

Can't promise it'll work for sure, but theoretically it should :-)
