[Papervision3D] Z-sort link

Hey list, I was messing around with papervision a month back or so and
really love it. I even began doing a client project with it only to realize
that the z-sorting algorithm was a bit too flaky to continue (we ended up
just pre-rendering everything). Anyway I could really see this as the future
of flash, but the care needed to prevent normal things from dept-sorting
funny and flashing is kind of a deal-breaker. Are any resources being put
into fixing this, what are the options for improving the z-sorting
algorithm? It seems like an algorithm like this:
http://www.gamespp.com/graphicsprogramming/informationOnTheZBufferAlgorithm.htmlmight
be something to look into, although maybe insane on memory. I know
everyone's really going full force on all ends of this but objectively it
seems that area should be given most attention since it's kind of the core
of 3D. If there is a solid workaround for this that has arisen please let me
know.

Thanks,
Dan
