[Papervision3D] Mesh node relationship to MovieMaterial (ASCollada)

Hi all,
I have a collada being parsed by ASCollada containing seperate meshes for
multiple identical objects (similar to light switches). I hope to map all
of these to one material requiring only one movieClip in the FLA for an
interactive MovieMaterial. (Then use a switch statement to determine which
mesh node to animate)
When the movieClip is clicked, is it even possible to determine which mesh
was clicked?
I went through in debug mode, and could not find a relationship between the
mesh node and the MouseEvent. Am I missing something or is this approach a
waste of time?
Thanks in advance for any help!
