[Papervision3D] Can it do...

I can't seem to find a list of features/specs beyond digging thru the forum,
so if there is one please point me to it.
I am looking for a replacement to demicron's WireFusion for a
garment-printing setup I've been working on. Essentially it is a 3D model
display which would allow customers to place artwork on a shirt or whatever
in various locations. It allows them to rotate the object and see it from
all angles, with all of their artwork in place. It's taken quite a bit of
work to make it usable, and still there are limititations I don't like. It
runs as a java applet, and comes with memory problems that prevent it from
being loaded more than a few times without a browser re-start. I can only
place limited numbers of images on any location, and don't have any way to
do custom text or embed fonts.
I believe within mapped movieclips in flash I would be able to dynamically
add a potentially unlimited number of images, as well as custom text and
fonts, which I can't do with wire fusion. I love flash, and hate java, so
would prefer a flash solution as a replacement.
To see what I'm trying to achieve, the display I'm looking to replace can be
found here: http://alleycat.chadroyer.com/wf/tshirt_std_mf.html (it takes a
minute to load, so be patient). Click the button that says 'send "on" to
front art' to display the artwork, and you can drag it to reposition it.
Color values should be entered as hex (#000000)...
So, this seems to be the only real option available for flash, so far as
I've been able to find. I have a few questions about it's abilities:
1) does it support UV mapped surfaces (looks as tho it does now)?
2) does it support multiple surface maps (ie, I'd need separate maps for
front, back, sleeves, etc. and I would like to map a separate movieclip to
each)?
3) can object rotation work like it does in my current display
(click-dragging to rotate)?
4) if I mapped a movieclip to a uv-mapped surface, and created a draggable
element in that clip, would it be draggable on the 3d model as well?
5) can 3d objects be turned on/off or imported/removed on the fly?
6) what object formats does it support, only Collada? I use Modo...
7) what are the rendering capabilities, ie smoothing, anti-aliasing, etc.
8) what are the limits for texture size/resolution
Sorry to thro so many questions, but I really need to make a decision
whether to follow this path, find another, or stick with what I've got. This
looks like it has potential, but maybe isn't far enough along yet to do what
I need. I'd very much appreciate any insight.
