Both examples fluctuate between 13-39 fps dependent entirely on the music but never really stable.
I think your reflections are nicer, more subtle.
Not sure about the music though! ;)

hey list...
i have been working on some new stuff.
trying to get a handel on all the new
2.0 goodness. so i have been making a
web radio station. its basically an
audio visualizer (i want to make a
few diffrent ones and choose at random)
and a coverflow. i was using a cool
technique to make the plane taller and
flip the bitmap data to create a
reflection effect. but about half way
through development andy zupko showed
me the new reflectionview. so up for
testing is two versions of the same
thing. the fist is using bitmap data
tricks, and the second is a true reflection.

faked reflection

true reflection
please respond a let me know the framerate
for both (average), which one responds
better, and which one looks better.
my pc is a beast. so the framerate is about
even, but on my laptop the reflection is
a bit slower... please let me know,
THANX!
btw,
i WILL be sharing the sources for this,
as usual, when it is 100% complete ;D
