hi quinrou,
I can't open your max file im max 8 (it complains about "unknown class - master layer control dll" or something).
However, I suggest to combine all four letters to one single editable mesh and rebake the lighting into one 512×512 texture file.
hope this helps,
Boris

Please, can anyone help resolving this problem of texture?

I have been trying to sort this problem of texture following everyone's advise but I have been very much unsuccessful.
here the simple colour material render that Tim suggested to do.
http://www.kinrou.com/tests/pv3d/logo_color_mat/MarkTest1.html
as you can see the letters are being rendered without any problems. so we can deduct that is not a normal problem.
I have been resetting the UVW map in 3d studio max like Tim also suggested which resulted to the loss of all the texture's settings. so i had to re-apply the unwrap setting to re-apply the texture. unfortunately this didn't solve the problem.
here you can find the logo max file (it only has to letters ) and 2 textures.

If i take my model and delete the 'ARK.' objects hence only keep the 'M'. Then export the file, the 'M" does get rendered properly, which is very odd since it didn't when it was redered with the other letters.
I am not sure what else to try...

Please provide your max file (I'll take a look at it when I have some free
time)
