[Papervision3D] Need help with referencing TextField used as MovieMaterial on plane

I am sure this is a newbie question since i am PV newbie trying to figure out
scope in PV3D. The situation is following:

-i have a mc:MovieClip to which i addChild TextField object
-mc is then used as MovieMaterial for a plane object
-everything is inside an holder:DisplayObject3D which is added to
scene:Scene3D

My question is, how can i reference that TextField using AS?
