Anybody know why you have to set tiled = true on your material when you turn
smooth = true?
I created a sphere and applied a BitmapMaterial to it. with smooth = false,
it worked beautifully, but when I turned smooth = true, the thing just
died... fps went all over the place.. but mostly 0-1 fps.
Then I found this thread,
http://www.nabble.com/Weird-problem%2C-need-some-help-to16864417.html#a16869787
if you turned tiled = true too, then everything runs smoothly again, but
nobody answer the question of why this is the case.
Anybody knows?
Thank you.
