[Papervision3D] Rotating relative to user's point of view

Hi,

as stated in my previous message, I'm currently working on a 3D dice. 
Now the thing that bugs me, is the rotation. I want it to rotate along a 
'2d' x and y axis.

Here is how it looks now:

As you can see, the horizontal rotation goes quite well, but the 
vertical rotation gets messed up.
If you press space, the dice stops rolling. Keyboard left and right 
rotate it along the x axis, down and up for the y axis.

To clarify, I need it to look like this:

I found the source code for that as well 
(http://*snafoo.org*/*cube*.zip), but it's way, way too difficult for me 
to get into.

Any help/hints/pushes would be very much appreciated :)
