As far as I could work out, the only animation that worked in PV from
Blender was translations (moving xyz) rotations and a Lattice deform.
I never got any bone/armature animations to work.
I know I got this bouncing ball to animate
http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3D:_Noob_to_Pro/Basic_Animation/Bounce
On the collada export tab I would only have 'traingles' and 'simple
animations' selected.
Due to the lack of support for bone animations I've now moved to Maya (with
a collada plugin), which so far I've not had any problems with and have
rigged/bone animations working.
I've attactched an anmation of a cube moving and spinning (nothing exiting
;) that was done in Blender 2.48a
One final thing, I think you may also need to install a plugin for 3dsmax,
and even worse I'm sure I read on the collada org forum that the 30 day
trials (they do with Maya) have problems with the plugin.
To answer your question on the other thread I'm using Maya 2008
