[Papervision3D] MovieAssetMaterial messy edges when tiled to a plane (and using transparency)

When I use a MovieAssetMaterial I’ve noticed the edge of the the texture seems to get duplicated on the other side of the 3D object
(similar to that old bug in Flash where an image would shift pixels – remember that with the 99% or ._x=0.5 hacks!?)
It is a particular problem when I’m using a semi circle shape with transparency – the curved edge has a messy line to the left of it.
I’ve tried a few things to stop it – changing the size of the texture in relation to the size of the display3d object, moving the MovieAsset a few pixels inside the MovieClip (so .x=2 for example)
I’m using a MovieAsset material which matches the size of the plane in PV3D
The problem appears to only appear if tiled=true, but I need to set this property since the object will be rotated at an angle where it causes PV3D problems that can crash the Flash Player...
