[Papervision3D] looking for ideas regarding vertices: coloring them possibly?

Andy, thanks for your response;

QUESTION a : do you mean to update the material OR to update the movieclip
of the MAM?
because the mc has x,y coordinates, whereas the material has UV coordinates;

QUESTION b : if I wish to update the MAM, does my MAM need to have .animated
= true?
I believe that the animated property refers to the need to update a material
whose mc is constantly changing; I ask because .animated=true seems to
require a measurable amount of processing power;

QUESTION c : I looked for your shadows tutorial, thinking that that might be
able to point me in the direction of associating a 3d model's vertices with
the model's material's UV's, but can't find it ... is it still available?
