[Papervision3D] Q:Default Camera 3D values arbitrary?

If I trace out default camera3d values I get
default_camera.zoom==40
default_camera.focus==8.660254037844389
default_camera.z==-1000

Can anyone tell me if there is some reason for these specific values or are they arbitrary?
