no, thank YOU and the team past and present for what you've given us
absolutely free. I'm sure many would agree that if we'd had to program
3D in Flash ourselves, it simply would never have happened.
Thanks for the heads up John

Hey all, there was another thread this morning asking about
where we're at and I wanted to take a moment to update you. Carlos was
going to blog about, and I'm sure he still is planning on that, but I'll
give you the short answers real quick.

We've decided, along with Ralph, that we're going to start over
on a F10 version of PV3D and that the X engine Ralph had put so many
hours into would go with him. So, for now, we've called it Papervision
3.0 internally, and I think anyone should refer to it as such from now
on as we'll immediately know what you're talking about ;) That might
change when we get to final release, but it seems to make sense right
now.

The team is returning to it's original way of handling the
project in terms of openness and getting the community involved. We
started out this way, and its an effective way to keep moral high and
momentum going forward. Red5's been very successful for many years now
because of the same philosophy.

So, our immediate task is to maintain a healthy 2.1 while we're
moving forward on 3.0. We are actively putting together a plan for 3.0
right now as well as reaching out to people in the community who would
like to get involved. We still have the same core members on the team
as well, so it's a matter of planning, assigning, execution and
community help when our plates are too full or we just need someone
else's brain on a task that can do it well.

That's about it I guess. In a nut shell, we're doing fine,
moving forward and we'll try to be as transparent about it as we can
along the way.

Thanks for your patience and help,

	John
