Anyone? Hasn't anyone tried event bubbling with PV3D DisplayObject3Ds?

Based on lack of responses to this question I asked below, I am now
assuming now that it is the case that event bubbling does not work up
the PV3D Display Object chain to parent Display objects. The core
question I and someone named dandare on the PV3D forum is, "mouse events
in PV3D (InteractiveScene3DEvent) do not bubble up through the
DisplayObject3D containers?" True?
Questions like this seem to reaffirm I'm not the only one who has seen
this:

And this hack fix didn't seem to work for me:

However, this pretty elementary to programming interactivity in PV3d, so
it MUST have been encountered by or know by many of you on this list
before. I know it's the holidays and all, but can someone confirm or
deny this is true? Thanks very much.

Having a strange problem in my code. Out of curiosity, are there any
known issue with classes that extend PV3D primitives and event bubbling?
They don't bubble for me even though bubbles=true on the event dispatch
from the extended class, so just wanted to be sure it wasn't a PVD3D
thing, and it was something in my code. It's likely it's something in
my code, just wanted to double-check real quick and see if anyone's had
similar issues.
