<html><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space; "><div>//(Sorry for the double post, I sent to someone else's thread last time (blush**))</div><div><br></div>Hey Papervision Community,<br><br>I have been using Papervision for quite a while with good results (thanks for a great tool guys) and have been trying out some of the same techniques using the new Flash 3D capabilities.<br>Why?<br><br>Well for me the ability to set the basic scene up visually and animate (however crudely) is a lot more intuitive than the code first, adjust later workflow.<br><br>I am working with combining the graphical flash ide and adding papervisions more advanced options as needed (spheres, lights, extra cameras, etc).<br><br>Obviously right now the 3D capabilities of Flash CS4 are handicapped by lack of a proper 3D editing interface, world view and the 'who the hell knows whats up and down' background.<br>I am thinking of being able to extend the IDE to work with 3D in the traditional Multi-view - Top, Left, Right, Bottom modes.<br><br>Right now I am using new windows and the camera to simulate that type of interface but its limited by lack of a 'world view'.<br>(see attached screenshot)<br><br>But its far from a perfect solution.<br><br>So my question is:<br><br>Has anyone come up with a decent way to edit and construct 3D objects in the Flash IDE?<br>Is anyone working on an extension to flash to enable this?<br>I am trying to hammer nails with a screwdriver?<br><br>All input gratefully received ;)<br><br>regards<br>Micheal Cronin<br><br><a href="mailto:mxc@moozeek.com">mxc@moozeek.com</a><br><br>Moozeek, Copenhagen Denmark.<br><br><img height="646" width="1059" src="cid:EEAF2F7A-6AE0-4B9E-8012-EE5D72437AA2@opasia.dk"><br><br><br><br><br></body></html>
