[Red5] archive video comes up blank

Hi i was wondering if anyone has experienced this problem, it seems the 
archive video comes up blank if im in a VOD mode and i just get audio, 
its intermittent, it will start to play when loaded but when i hit stop 
then play again the video doesnt come up. At times when the player is 
loaded the video doesnt show at all. I am using the same player i use 
for the VOD content, its built in flex. If i use the VideoDisplay 
component it works fine, is it a glitch or my code im playing with this 
play method
