Hi Roberto,

you can use serverside streams
	- to catch a client-live stream and record it to server.
	- to play a recorded stream for subscribers.
subscribers can play this stream live
	- you can also catch a stream from another application instance
and play it live in the current application instance
in the current release of red5, u can't use all this features.

Betreff: [Red5] Serverside Streams question

I have tried to understand the code changes, but I have difficulty to
get the bigger picture.

Is the main thing that with Serverside Streams, the server severside
application starts (and stops or whatever) to play a stream of a
client which is connected to Red5 ? Is it more than that ? Or did I
get it completly wrong ?

regards
