[Red5] still a problem with metadata in vod mode

Hi, sorry it took me a while to test things, your example just gave me 
an error

so i tried

play(streamName, -2 -1, true)

it started playing but then just hanged.

07:52:48.640 [DEBUG] Subscriber Buffer Length: 0.266Buffer Time: 10

07:52:48.671 [INFO] Subscriber Playback Started

can someone tell me what the proper way to initiate a VOD stream to my 
understanding its this


play(streamName, 1)

as it gets the streamnotfound message perfect but no metadata sent !

please advise.
